Welcome to Ms. McCormick's 2nd Grade-Rm. 10
Chinese Proverb: "Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere"
My name is Kathleen McCormick. I was born and raised in San Francisco, California and have grown up the the Bay Area. I have earned my Bachelors in Liberal Studies and my CLAD Multiple Subject Teaching from San Jose State University. I have been teaching for over 15 years, with most of my professional experience in Grades K-4th. However, I had the honor and pleasure of teaching with some amazing teachers, staff, students and families at Park Elementary School, since 2008!
In may spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, whom live locally. We enjoy walking on the beach in Carmel, hiking the Peninsula, taking photography classes, traveling the world, and visiting local art museums. My favorite place is Australia (where I can scuba dive) and see Koala Bear/Kangaroos! My favorite food/drinks are chocolate, popcorn, lattes, and strawberries! I love sunflowers, reading books and definitely learning more each and every day with my adorable, curious, intelligent second graders!
