Dear Park School Families,

This is a busy week of learning and we enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday at Literacy Night. We read all types of books written by our beloved author. There were fiction and non-fiction books and “celebrities” we love from our past reading Dr. Seuss’ magical books. For many of us his books have helped us learn how to read. His quotes inspire us in so many ways. Here is one of my favorites: “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!” His books have left a lasting imprint in our hearts and minds. Thank you to all of our staff and visitors who helped make this evening so special. Next week we will celebrate Literacy Week to celebrate reading. Park Panthers love to read!

Our See’s Candies Fundraiser is officially underway! We continue raising money for our phenomenal field trips. It is important that our students have the opportunity to attend at least two field trips a year. Some of the field trips our classes have been to lately are: Academy of Science, Exploratorium, Mission San Juan Bautista, NASA, Woodside Store, Elkus Ranch, and Marine Science Institute. We are selling See’s Candies until March 25th. Let’s encourage our family and friends to support our delicious fundraiser. Thank you all for your support!
